And I have even more stuff to say?! When it's going to end!
I am topping it off though. I think I am nearing the finish line in terms of system configuration.
Then again, it's a personal preference thing.
This, I have to share.
I was just browsing, when I saw a terminal shell with a custom background image ([1] for cited reference). I thought, "Oh, pretty cool (I should do something like that, maybe it would be worth some [sentimental] value after all)." I was going to get the specific terminal, but I figure that the array of themes and plugins isn't what I am currently looking for in terms of a terminal. It's a good thing that the default terminals can change background with a background image. It's a personal preference thing. Instead of just a black color, I picked one of the pre-installed wallpapers as background image. I prefer to have the Styling to Stretched and Shading to 0.50 (to balance out between background image visibility and text readability).
During my search, I accidentally found out about animated wallpapers and so on. I thought it was for the terminal, but it is a disappointment to my somewhat dismay. Why would I want a animated terminal background? Head is not thinking straight. Still, at least animated wallpaper is interesting! I got to animated wallpaper searching after my terminal background edit.
After skimming though a few choices, I decided to pick the fork of number one, Komorebi.link link
As stated from the original author cheesecakeufo/Abraham Masri:
I currently can use a .mp4 loop as a wallpaper. Careful, it does play noise! You would probably want a silent recording. I could even use a webpage as a wallpaper! Both media mediums are restricted to view/read only mode so you don't have to risk anything bad with interaction. Yeah, it's pretty much showy stuff. Still, it could be pretty cool, or even informative/educative with the right media viewership (slideshow? a reminder? perhaps).

I know it may sound trivial or whimsical to insert media into the facets of the essential interfaces. I do see some value in the potential of using the background of either terminal and wallpaper. If the video/audio wallpaper could be television/radio live stream and terminal background as transparent, the combination could be useful for live action scenarios. It's basically the same as programs, but computer resources should be more cost efficient and interfacing between programs would get much easier. Less need to cycle around programs, I suppose. Likewise, the webpage view only wallpaper would be a great way to get a view on a webpage as soon as the OS draws up the desktop environment (session and startup management would already set the Komorebi program). This could be a like a notice to keep up to date on news like a newspaper stand. You can even refresh the view of the webpage. It would be probably better if that url/webpage_file is/houses/holds live stream, but it would be a video/television live stream recording that screen then? I DID IT! ALL I HAVE TO DO IS TO LINK WEBPAGE PARAMETER WITH THE HTTP Live Streaming playlist file URL value (or among other playlist variants; a webpage with multiple divs containing media players playing different live streaming playlist file is also possible [here is the page of instructions {link; read the #2 Try freeware section, mentioned program required}])! I am not sure about the scroll length, but I am sure that the view is non-scrollable. I suppose that with a transparent terminal, you can get on programming while keeping a static eye (not dynamic yet) on the webpage in question. You can also save the HTTP Live Streaming playlist file URL value as a mp4 file. Mp4s have the additional ability to act as a playlist file. Both a video and playlist file? Sounds even more convenient! In the case, that either playlist url/file drops in connectivity, it is the fault of the host, not you. Hey, it's broadcast hosting, what did you expect? Anyways, to get the live stream back, just repeat the steps again, and assign the new playlist url/file to the proper directory destination.
If you really are desperate for a (near) constant or 24/7 live stream video playlist test, something like a public broadcast station camera will do. Here is my find of a sample link, which is some google host referenced by the youtube network stream url. You can save it as a playlist file. You can also just link the url. Beware, while it is quite the calming sight to behold, the audio is subtle and near constant. Its presence can provide a sense of a cold atmosphere. Take care of your sensibilities as they may react as a allergic symptom!
NOW THAT'S A VIDEO WALLPAPER BEHIND A TERMINAL WITH TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND! PROBABLY BETTER WITH TEXT BACKGROUND COLOR IF POSSIBLE. (GUI window setup required [mp4s can loop, playlist file in url or div of webpage can live stream])
EDIT (26/03/2022):
I managed to create a hasty html (will fix with the proper code documentation), that will host the latest web standard implements and plugins. Camera interface may not be the best for screen resolution rendering optimization. Still, the file in question should suffice. It's all good for real time (digital video camera) live stream playlist-like files like mp4 and mjpg. However, the server may not produce such file and opt for a static image frozen in time at snapshot. For static images that can roll like stop motion (digital still camera), I decided to take the interfacing and screen rendering in my own hands. Focus is on the view pane. So far, I am able to make the video player live stream a cyclic round of digital still images within a few seconds loop. Quite the serious webcam, despite its potential shortcomings, I must say. It's working like a makeshift lawnmower working.
